Wait... it's Friday?!
Aug. 9th, 2024 10:45 pmI was popping out to pick up bread and milk and something for dinner when I suddenly realised it was Friday and I needed to collect husband's prescription! I treated it like a collection of sidequests where you pick up two or three from people in the same town, go to different points on the map, then complete them all at the same time :D So, up the road to the local shop, up a bit further (passing through the beautiful garden in Falkner Square) to the pharmacy, then trying to find the most direct route to Greggs for sausage rolls, and finally swinging round into Hope Street to get home.
I played some more of Infamous: Second Son and I'm definitely getting to grips with it - but I can already feel myself thinking, 'Meh...' when I consider playing it. It just feels like there's a lot of 'rinse and repeat' about it. Which Ghost of Tsushima had towards the end when I was OP - but I'm anything BUT in ISS. Like GoT, there are lots of small things to do and it's easy to lose an extra 30-60 minutes doing 'one more thing' :D I think I'll stick with it, though. 'How Long to Beat' suggests 10.5 hours and I've already done 5 - so it's probably 15-20 for me, which isn't a lot of my life. And I do enjoy the spray painting.
Also did some washing and cleaned the kitchen, so that's something off my 'to do list' for tomorrow.
And we did another 100 songs off my 'liked songs' on Spotify. Honestly, there are some I don't recognise! I must have listened to an album, or had a recommendation off someone, and played a song once and thought, 'Not bad!' - and now it's on my list... There are also some that just have me scratching my head - '5, 6, 7, 8'...?...REALLY...?! I mean, I do quite like the chorus... Don't judge me!
Finished off with an episode of Umbrella Society and some YouTube randomness.
