Still working out the Things
Mar. 11th, 2025 09:46 pmThis time last year, I was getting to grips with PowerApps/P4W, ordering a fancy belt, and enjoying other people enjoying FFVII:Rebirth. Petting chicobos ALMOST makes me want to play!
I think Clair Obscure: Expedition 33 is going to be my birthday game. There's a PS+ 10% discount on the preorder, which means I could get the deluxe edition for the same price as the base game at the normal cost. I'm VERY not sure I'm going to get on with the combat, but it's a birthday present, so I'm less worried about spending money on it.
While the boys are shouting at LFC, I've been doing some story in Ragnarok. More giant puppies!!! And a sense of satisfaction at opening one of those rune chests. I'm getting to grips with the combat, and even switching weapons mid-battle. I'm so pleased with myself :D
Today, I did some work on the Power BI reports, just some basic tidying up to get the look and feel consistent, switching some fields around, and correcting some titles. But the project stages are still wrong. I'll give the team a nudge about that tomorrow.
I nearly didn't clean a cupboard tonight but I gritted my teeth and got it done. Keeping up the discipline is almost as satisfying as getting that chest!
