Hoping for better...
Mar. 12th, 2025 09:25 pm This time last year I was grateful for my LM, was enjoying watching other people game and getting ready for Sunday. The last couple of talks I've given, I haven't had that feeling of the words destroying the thoughts, which is a Good Thing. Not sure I've fully articulated them, either, though.
Today was slow work-wise, but I did get a hair cut! And the result is more of a style <3 After the hair dresser washed my hair, I demonstrated what I was looking for in the end result and we got it! Finally... When it was done, I said it looks more like a hair style and the hair dresser said, 'rather than a blob - a Lego head'. YOU have been cutting it that way! Anyway, we are now on the same page regarding my head :D
I was working from home because husband had a podiatry appointment but he really wasn't feeling well, so we cancelled. I'll see how he's feeling tomorrow :(
I did get some prep done for meetings that are coming up next week, and even had an eye on some that are coming up in three weeks! I'm on leave the week after next, so I need to be thinking ahead. And I got a colleague who is notorious for their lack of documentation to actually write stuff! Only a couple of emails, but it's still words.
I did home-made fried rice for tea, and then cleaned out another cupboard. There was some VERY old stuff lurking in it that I had to throw out. The stuff that remains is much easier to access, now. And I have a growing list of things that need to be replaced. I think I'll do the drawers, tomorrow.
And I got another hour done in Ragnarok. Kratos did something he didn't want to do because it was necessary, not because it was written. But it still made him sad. Now we're looking for a lost companion but the area looked scary, so I left it for another day. Atreus' skill tree is full. And I have a flying ship!
I've been putting 'writing' on my to do list every day and ticking it off every evening. I haven't ACTUALLY made words, but I've been watching some YT videos about historical kings and pondering how their stories might be reflected by my True King - and the sweetheart. That counts as writing, right?
Now for an early night.
