A bed of roses

I'm up to about 33k of my sort-of-nano.  I'm hoping to get to 37k by the end of tomorrow so I can coast to the end on 1k a day.  It's a plan.  I'm enjoying doing Nano this way, and I definitely think I have a multi-volume epic - I'm just not sure how to manage it going forward.  Especially because i also have an idea for a completely different story about work colleagues who are also superhero buddies but don't know each other's secret identities.  Perhaps I could run that as a parallel to 70x700?  Flash fiction but episodic?  I think it might work as a comic, but I'd need an artist.  Although the son was talking about trying to resurrect his old 'LFC as a school' stories as something animated.  But, first things first - I need to finish this year's Nano!

One of my friends from church has also caught the bug.  I was talking to them about it the other day and even made a suggestion for the final plot twist they were looking for.  We'll see if that comes off!

And I have sold a copy of Mannerley!!!  It is finally available to buy - here.  Just sayin'...  And I am very excited about it, whilst also feeling a sense of anti-climax...

Otherwise, life continues, but I don't have time to talk about it - I have words to make!
