It's Friday again!
Sep. 6th, 2024 10:31 pmThis week has flown by so fast! It only seems 5 minutes since I was complaining my week off was finishing.
Had a good 1-1 with LM today. Stuff for them to do, stuff for me to do - and agreement on ways to move the needle, especially on reporting.
And had a conversation with the PM who's heading up the BIG HR project and it looks like there might be more for me to do - pouty Rosa is pouty.
I've been watching cohhcarnage play Deliver Us Mars and it's turning out to be a mostly good game - even he's struggling with the pickaxe nonsense, though. I'm pretty sure the devs played The Talos Principle - LOTS of shine the beam HERE, and carry this gadget to make it go THERE, too. The voice acting is much better than the character models. I get that it's not a AAA game but go for stylised over not-at-all-realistic.
And I gave up on Ender Lilies in less than 20 minutes - surely a new record! Jump up here using this swinging thing somehow... No, not like that... Oh, you're at the bottom again. Life is too short. MIGHT watch a LP...
Instead I did the first quest in Skyrim, looting lots of bodies and picking the locks on chests as I went. Now I appear to be stuck - unless I have to go all the way back the way I came...? Well, that's a problem for another day.
Could try Crisis Core - FFVII - Reunion...? I've started watching a couple of LPs for it but never got very far. Or I have Dave the Diver but I'm not really drawn to that. Or Weird West, which I haven't looked at since picking it up. Same with Trek to Yomi. I should at least give them a go before they get taken down again.
Watched an oddly emotional episode of Umbrella Academy. Only two more before I jump into the final series. Next up is Kaos, methinks.
And now I want to get to bed whilst it's still today. Goodnight, DW!
