A bed of roses

I think the bedding will get washed after all!

The space where the pond will live is getting gradually cleared of small stones, roots and other crap.  Including 3 balls from the grandson's mini pool table...

The pond itself has arrived and has been dubbed The Puddle.  But it will hold some water and a few plants and, possibly, some fish.  Very, very small fish.  Just waiting for the sand, really, and we can get it in.

I'm off to the garden centre on Thursday, so I shall look at water plants while I'm there, and a solar powered pump.

I'm also getting my hair cut on Thursday - can't wait!  Although, in the longer term, I'm considering letting it grow again.

Another job application to be filled in this week.

I'm just past half-way in Warrior Nun, which I'm only watching because it gives my chat buddy and me something to talk about!  But I'm actually getting in to it, now.  I really don't like 'Evil is a Thing and Good People must Fight with Actual Weapons' scenarios.  It's not my view of what the Church is actually for, or the real nature of evil.  However, I like Ava and her back story, and I absolutely adore Mary.

And The Umbrella Academy 2 starts next Friday!  So excited about that.
