A bed of roses

Really not much to report, other than I love my new phone!  My old one (which was my grandson's old one, so is now THIRD hand) has gone to the husband, who is very bemused as to how it's actually going to change his life.  However, it will allow me to contact him more easily - I think.  I have a very cute sticker in the shape of a moogle but made up of lots of FF symbols and objects (Buster Sword, Lionheart, a moomba and a behemoth, to name a few).  I'm waiting for a clear protective cover to arrive before I apply it, though.

Our new rugs are down and look very pretty and the new curtains have arrived - but not the poles!  I was going to fit them today but now it'll have to wait for next weekend.

Um...  Work was OK.  Got some stuff sent out for various meetings.  It was busy but also uneventful, somehow...?

I am in the process of applying for the post of Committee Secretary for Homes England, which pays £30-50k.  *looks blank*  I don't know what a committee secretary has to do to earn £30k but I'm willing to find out!

I've resurrected my blog and committed to a) updating it weekly, b) finishing 70x700 this year, and c) publishing the e-version of Mannerley.

Oh, and The Good Place and Titans have returned to much rejoicing.

Otherwise, looking forward to a quiet weekend!  With lots of cards :D
