A bed of roses

I just watched one more episode of Psych than I intended to because it was a two-parter. I can still get to bed at a reasonable hour, though. Really...

I got through all the side stuff I can get to at the moment, including all the Looters' Caverns and the races, and 'liberating' pearls from the Alpha Sections ;D So, I had to fall back on story :O Sometimes, the camera is a real pain. And shooting at flying things whilst they're shooting at me is Not Fun. Now I'm getting beaten up by three guards despite having 'help'. So, that's one for tomorrow.

Husband made boiled eggs and soldiers for breakfast, which were really nice. And I made speg bol for tea - which was also very nice. It was a win for food, today.

And that about sums up my day.

Another busy week - but busy is good!

Next week is the result of VERY bad planning.  I have ITIL training Monday and Tuesday, then I'm on leave Thursday and Friday - leaving me with Wednesday to do any work.  The training happens every Monday and Tuesday but, work-wise, next week was the best fit for ages and I want to get this done.  And I can't change the booking.  I could change my leave, but I'm looking forward to being off.  So, next Wednesday is the working week for me :D

Expecting the daughter to make an appearance over the weekend, as it's Mothering Sunday tomorrow.

And a close contact has, apparently, tested positive for Covid - no idea who; I just got a text this morning asking me to order a PCR test.  I did one of the lateral flow tests last night (before knowing about the Covid case) and that was negative, but I've sent off for the PCR test anyway.

And that's life at the moment!
