Home again, home again...
Feb. 18th, 2023 10:17 amWe're home. A nurse is going to come once a day to complete the course of antibiotics - just waiting for them to turn up *sigh*
And we're having The Debate I've been dreading. The hospital food was edible and had enough calories to keep husband alive. It was NOT designed for a diabetic, but now, of course, I 'know better than the medical experts' because I criticised it. I know almost nothing about healthy eating in general and even less about diabetic diets - I only know what the DIABETIC experts told me he's allowed.
He complained about being hungry in hospital - he wasn't feeling hungry the two or three weeks before he went in because we had the balance of food and medications right and working with each other. But, of course, he doesn't remember that!
*more sighing*
I suppose only experience will convince him.
At least now I can meet the new grandson! And make a start on my clowns!
