Mmmm - tasty!

I helped out at Graduation yesterday and Thursday. Thursday I thought I'd lost a graduand but it turned out he was just in the wrong seat *facepalm* Yesterday, there was a girl in a plain black cap and gown (ours are navy with silver trims), because she hadn't got round to ordering the right one or something... Anyway, I took her down to the staff gowning area and scrounged a spare from them - hope she took it back!
Also found that one of my colleagues that I was in fairly close contact with on Wednesday and Thursday was off sick yesterday with what sounds like Covid but was testing negative. But the last few cases I've heard of have been like that. People have felt really rough but haven't tested positive until a couple of days in. We have a small number of kits in the house, so I'll wait and see what happens :( Feeling fine at the moment, though.
And Boris has gone! But hasn't gone...?! Yeah, typical Boris. 'Nobody likes me but clearly they want me to stay until a new fuckwit is elected as party leader! Wonder if I can take that wallpaper with me...' But who will replace him...
Yesterday, we went for a walk as soon as I finished work, so didn't have anything to eat. The husband suggested the KFC that is on our walk but I wasn't feeling it. So we decided to look at the row of eateries that includes the KFC and realised that Yogee doesn't just do frozen yoghurt and ice cream but also does burgers. So we had some REALLY good cheeseburgers and wedges. Local company, using cardboard cartons for the food, and we want to go again. Win-win-win!
It looks like it's going to be another nice day but we don't have a lot of picnic food in, so I was going to go shopping at some point. And the cleaning doesn't do itself. AND I have a plat to get for Firewatch! So much to do, so little time...
