Moving on while standing still

rosa_heartlilyUpdate on the niece. She was killed on the road, which suggests she was crossing it at the time. The driver is, apparently, allowed up to 28 days 'rest' due to the shock he's gone through. He can also request a second post mortem. The upshot is that the funeral - and closure - are nowhere in sight.
In happier news, I have already sunk over 15 hours into NNK2 and the verdict is (mostly) positive. It's another game that has tons of stuff going on and a lot of what I thought would be 'optional' is actually mandatory. If you haven't played NNK1, you could definitely still play this one. The only place the two games seem to have in common is Ding-Dong-Dell - I think even the shape of the world map has changed. There is some similarity in the art work and some of the monster designs but it really is a different game.
On my week off last week, we painted the kitchen, which is now a rather jaunty yellow. The doors need redoing, though, because the colour I got is a) too white and b) patchy.
I also got my hair cut a lot shorter, which will require more frequent trims but the place I got it done is only at the end of the road, so it's less faff to get to.
And I finished Jessica Jones - seriously good AND I noticed that a lot of the writers and directors were female - and I've restarted Once Upon a Time.
Oh, and the editing/creating on Chapter 4 is coming along.
