Going strong
Mar. 27th, 2026 09:41 pm A year ago, I was joining MP at St Margaret's, enjoying a walk with Husband, digging in the garden, having a bath to ease my muscles, throwing away out of date food, planning worship over Easter, and getting to grips with Forspoken.
Today I sent an email to the rest of the Oversight Team with some 'getting to know you' questions - and I got some responses!
I picked up Husband's prescription on the way to the office. There were two AI sessions today - the wrap-up workshop and a coaching session. The workshop was led by another stand-in, but my colleagues and I are scratching our heads over the way the whole thing is structured. Although, we do know, from bitter experience, that apprenticeship providers have a LOT of hoops to jump through, so a lot of what they're doing is probably connected to that. The coach seemed to think my project idea was a good one, so we'll see how I get on with it. All being well, I'll get it done by 10 April and have some breathing space before Module 3 lands. One of my colleagues (in a different department) has already made their idea a reality, and got extra funding and so on!
After tea, I got another hour or so of Veilguard. I am now judge, jury and executioner. But that's right for this Rook. And he's also suspicious of Harding's new abilities - but that's because he's suspicious of anything non-Elven. He's going to be interesting to play.
Now I'm watching the end of the latest Doctor Who story. The Master is being his megalomaniac self, of course. This is the one that gives us the lore about 12 regenerations - which, of course, has long been ignored :D I wonder who Sixteen will be?
