Fixing and adjusting
Mar. 10th, 2026 09:14 pmA year ago, I was amazed at the courage of one of our younger congregants going to Ukraine, still anxious over my friend and my part in what happened to them, encouraging my gamer colleague to play DAV, poking at work, and cleaning the smallest cupboard in the kitchen.
Today started slowly whilst waiting for the shopping to arrive. When that was put away, I headed for the back garden. I did some light clearing and tidying and then... drum roll, please... I moved the pond. The back wall is, I hope, a warmer position and I'm in hopes that the iris will flower. I have more Plans for it but they can wait for now.
After dinner I had a good soak in the bath, then I played some more Granblue Fantasy. I'm still not sure how much I'm enjoying it. The easy setting is certainly a help with the battles, which I think would be overwhelming otherwise. It keeps reminding me quite forcefully of Atelier Ryza 3.
We had an early tea because Liverpool's match was on early. I watched The Rookie and Doctor Who and cleared out some emails in my work inbox.
This evening, I've been watching Emma 2020 (how many times is it now?!) whilst sewing the new press studs and buttons on my coat. I had to redo the press studs a couple of times, but it was worth the effort. And now I can enjoy the ending of Emma - it's SUCH a good adaptation.
