Quiet Saturdays

rosa_heartlilyA year ago I was enjoying a visit from Daughter and all the grandkids, managing meetings, making progress with GoW:R, and watching Unforgotten.
Today was a normal Saturday with zero visitors. I got through the cleaning and made a sausage and bean casserole for tea - which was not a great success. We did call Daughter to wish her happy birthday. Sounds like she had a great day.
I managed some progress with TTPII. It's such a buzz when I get the solution. It's even more of a buzz when a puzzle stumps me and then I go back and see the solution on the second go.
I also watched a couple of episodes of Doctor Who and one of the Lincoln Lawyer.
Finishing the day with a recipe for clotted cream.
