Ending the year right

rosa_heartlilyThis time last year I was sort of enjoying our Christmas meal, hoping the garden would be done by Christmas Eve, learning about Power BI, and feeling ready for the festive season.
Today I started by getting my hair cut at a new place. I might go back. Then I popped into Aldi for a turkey and then into Oxfam, where I picked up a very nice dress.
Back home, we had dinner and then I settled to some work. I tidied up the records for the closed projects and shared the final set of minutes for one of them. Playstation Access did their third live stream of the week - a LEGO party game. No Friday Feature :( And I won't watch any more of FFXmas until I'm back at work.
Had one of husband's 'interesting' conversations after tea, not helped by son's interjections. But we managed to not fall out, so that's something.
I played a couple of hours of LHA. I'm renovating Mother's Heart - there are lots of decorations to enjoy. Still focussing on the story but I may have time to go for the Plat.
Finishing the day with HIGNFY - a quick (and irreverent) round up of the year's news.
