...today, I learned about COE33 and DAV for the first time(!), went for a walk with husband, made curry for tea, got some stuff done for work, and watched Psyche.
The other game I learned about from the Playstation Access gang was Lego Horizon Adventures, which is the only one I haven't looked into getting.
Today I 'met' favourite colleague first thing. There was a mix-up about location - when I set the meeting up it automatically made it a Teams meeting but I assumed we would meet in person. FC assumed it was just Teams. Note to self - communicate! Anyway, we made it on Teams and chatted for 30 minutes about the use of AI in the university and how different discipline view it (surprisingly, the artists are on board!), and 30 minutes about Doctor Who. We dissected the last series and the Old Stuff - they are well into #4's era, whilst I'm still kicking about in #2's :D
I made a tiny bit of progress with the Power BI reports. The dev and I were both in the office today, which made it easier to just call them over to my desk. I have a self-imposed deadline of 31 July to get the new portfolio report out in public, so I really want to get a wriggle on with it. One of the sessions I want to go to at the conference tomorrow is about story-telling with Power BI.
I had an online training session for Safeguarding tonight that started at 7pm - such an inconvenient time. It was a good session, though, with everyone very engaged. My group didn't stick strictly to the remit in the break out session, but we only had time to cover 3 of the 6 areas in the main group, anyway.
And now it's bedtime. At the end of the training, the trainer said, 'enjoy the rest of your evening'. What 'rest'? Washing up, journalling, prayer, and bed!
