When I spend...

This time last year I was writing minutes and trying to get my report reviewed, writing to my aunt and digging out some gothy-style jeans, and winning on ebay.
Today, husband and I finally got out on my shopping spree! We started at the Banardo's shop, where I managed to spend £60 :O I got two jumpers, two dresses, two blouses, and two cardis - one of which was BNWT, a Hobbs shrug that originally cost £50. Who can drop £50 on a cardi and not even wear it, then give it away? I mean, I'm grateful but, I'd have taken it back for a refund.
Next was Lush, who are doing a refurb on the upper floors, so everything was crammed into the ground floor. I've been using Angels on Bare Skin for a long time but I thought I'd try something new - Rosey, Apples, Lemon and Pears, because I discovered AoBS has almond shells in it and I don't want to encourage almonds; of course, almond shells are arguably a waste product, I suppose. I also got geranium-scented soap and some more bubble bars - and I can never have too many bubble bars.
Finally, was TK Maxx, where I bought two pairs of shoes (I had a thing for two's...) and a new purse.
Then we went to the Bluecoat for dinner, which we ate outside in the gardens.
Back home, it was time for COE33, in which I have progressed from 57% to 61%. I'm skirting around some enemies because they're just Not Fun. I'm playing on Easy for a reason, FFS!!! I'd have no chance if I was playing on anything harder. Some thoughts:
I watched the next episode of The Sinner. Twists and turns aplenty.
And then HIGNFY, hosted by Roy Wood Jr who struggled to pronounce High Wycombe and snooker ;D Oh, and I bought a couple of things from ebay to help with one of my 'new' dresses.
I don't often spend money, or certainly not a lot of it in one go, but when I do, I really do :D But they are all things I will use and get my full moneys worth out of. It's also forced me to sort out a couple of drawers so I have somewhere to put the new stuff - one of the rejects is the pair of jaquard jeans I was digging out last year!

- Verso's eyes!!!
- Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum over there can just amuse each other
- Three...?
- The boy is...?!
- A Mime with two sidekicks? NOPE!
