You know it's the right thing

This time last year I was filling a work day somehow, watching Dave mess up in Junon, and shocked at the price of 'real' photos. I think I just gave my parents the originals in the end.
Today I tweaked a couple of our templates after seeing something one of our PMs had created and sent them to LM for comment. I also got my monthly report signed off and shipped out.
The big news, though, was husband. We booked a telephone appointment (colour us both relieved) but then the doctor said they wanted him to come in. Now, he'd said he didn't want to go out and to do everything I could to prevent it but... if the doctor wants to examine you, they can't do it from half a mile away! Anyway, he got ready and we went over. The doctor was super respectful and listened to his chest by just putting the stethoscope down through the neck of his clothes rather than lifting them up. I really liked that. They also had a look up his nose when he mentioned nose bleeds. There's still a bit of something on his chest and his nose is inflamed, so we have another course of antibiotics. He had a bit of a grumble but not as much as I expected. He also needs to get another blood test done - and there's still the follow-up chest xray, too.
He went to bed quite early, so I played an hour of Coffee Time. It's definitely a different pace to Veilguard! Probably not going to get the plat - for one thing, I have no idea how to do the milk art thing and there's a trophy for that. I was surprised by how many characters smoke given it's a modern game - and they couldn't smoke INSIDE in this country. Anyway, it looks like a nice way to while away a few hours (4-8 according to 'how long to beat'). That should take me through the weekend, and then the weekend after I'll start GoW: Ranarok.
I'm also continuing with the writing prompts - today was a dialogue between two items in a classroom, so I went with a desk and chair. It was slightly surreal.
Back to the office tomorrow - and I start the day by meeting up with Gamer Colleague <3
