Heading into the end game

In Veilguard, I've levelled up all the factions and all the companions and we're ready for our final conference before we hit the end. I spent a bit of time with one of the couples on today's missions because they were at the lowest levels. They really are so cute together. And I like the way they go back to what they were talking about if you trigger a story point mid-conversation.

This time last year I was mourning and over-sleeping. And I TOLD myself to buy non-Christmas wrapping paper! But did I listen? I shall add it to my shopping list.

Today was our joint service at St Michael's. We were thin on the ground but quality over quantity! And the person I suspect of writing The Letter was there and I had a normal conversation with them, which I'm glad about. I only suspect, I don't know - and when I think about them and some of what they said today, I can see how they're hurting, so I can show some empathy. 

The weather was damp and blustery, so I was very glad to snuggle up in my PJs and blankets rather than tackle the back garden. But I do want to get it done - hopefully the weather will improve.

Husband and I want to take my mother and step-father out for a meal, so I have that to organise tomorrow.

And that was today.

Oh, I love that they'll pick up the conversation so you don't have to be carefully stopping whenever one starts so as not to miss anything!
