More relief!

rosa_heartlilyThis time last year, I was having a tricky time with husband, worrying about colleagues, and learning from CS Lewis.
Today, I got husband to the hospital appointment. He didn't wanna but he knew it was important. The doctor talked to him about the blood work and then listened to his chest and said they could definitely hear something on the left lung. Then he went for some obs and there was some panic about his BP and oxygen levels, and he was threatened/advised with admission to the hospital, which made both our hearts sink. The oxygen level did come up but the BP was the one they were most concerned with. He was told to drink some water and they redid the BP and it did improve, so the doctor said he could come home, after getting a chest xray. He now has a 5 day course of antibiotics to get through, and the doctor is going to call us on Monday.
As an aside, the room he went to for the obs had a number of cubicles but zero sound-proofing, so I could hear all about someone's water infection (they were having hallucinations!), and how someone else was taking paracetamol all the time.
I managed a bit of work - mostly prep for various meetings.
This morning, I typed up everything I 'know' about Nova so far. I've decided to stick with that as her name because it sounds more active and adventurous than Ennea/Innia. During the trips to and from the hospital, I also had a think about some aspects of her people - but it doesn't get me any nearer to knowing what story she's part of! She's definitely going on a journey, and I think she joins a group (a king and his guards? all in disguise, of course) that come to the temple seeking advice - but what is their mission? does she support it? does she go with the temple's blessing? I'm thinking of looking for some daily writing prompts; maybe they'll shake something loose.
I finished the day with a couple of episodes of Troughton's Doctor Who. Some VERY dodgy accents...
