Well, of course...

Today I made it to Morning Prayer - yay for WFH days with no early meetings! I remembered sister-in-law (9 years today), and prayed for stepfather who went into hospital today. I tried ringing my mother but she must have been still at the hospital or on her way home. I'll try again in the morning.
I did prep for meetings (because of course I did...), did some washing (including the bedding), and remade the bed. And I've started sticking the case for my miniature tea shop together, finally.
I was going to do speg bol for tea but it turns out we don't have any bol sauce in :O I was sure there was a jar in the cupboard... Oh, well, that's tomorrow taken care of!
And I finished the night off with rounding up some of the detours in Cipal. It's going to take at least one more session, I think. I watched the alternate choice and it ends really abruptly. I wonder how many people make it, though? When I did the search there was a video with the title of 'Forspoken is even worse than you thought', which I thought was harsh. Is it the greatest game ever made? Definitely not - but it's a long way from being the worst. The VA is decidedly patchy and the pacing of the last half of the story is pretty poor. But the combat is interesting. I'm pretty OP against normal enemies, but bosses still require some quick thinking. Finding the right spell is a nice puzzle, sometimes. The only thing I really have a problem with is... the relationship with THAT character just going back to how they were before. How? Why? I mean, apart from the gameplay basically demands it. But surely they wouldn't just accept it so meekly? Anyway, it's not great and it's not terrible. As I said to chat buddy, it was fun while it lasted. Just realised, I forgot to tell chat buddy that Claudia Black is one of the Tantas.
So, not a lot going on today. Roll on tomorrow.
