Yay for options!
Mar. 18th, 2025 09:26 pmThis time last year, Occupational Therapy were assessing the house, LM was charging ahead (again), and there were difficult conversations to be had at church.
Today marked the first project board for one of our bigger projects in terms of the number of people affected - but it's all going to be finished in six months! Of course, that's the university's busiest time, so there were some murmurs of concern about that, and several mentions of the need for training - but for some teams there's no 'quiet time', so whenever we want to run the training they'll be busy *facepalm* Anyway, that's one for the PM to sort out.
Last week I was looking forward to my little cleaning jobs. This week, it's proving to be a real effort to work up any enthusiasm - but that's where the discipline comes in! Anyway, I realised that the bin needed cleaning when I took the bin bag out, which meant I could do a cleaning job but didn't have to tackle a cupboard. This is the best part of having a large house - there are so many little jobs to do. I'm thinking the cup cupboard, the walk-ins and the fridge/freezer are all jobs that can wait for next week when I'm off work.
The colleague who is interested in Veilguard (but hasn't yet bought it for Reasons) is now also interested in Clair Obscur, which I mentioned casually. I've pre-ordered the 'deluxe' edition because with the discount it's the same price as the standard version. And I won't play it until my birthday, when I have another full week off. Might clean the windows that week...
Yes, my life is sooo exciting...
