Helpful Rosa is helpful
Jan. 18th, 2025 10:38 pmMy DAV character is also called Rosa and she was sooo helpful to all her companions today. And she drank something she probably shouldn't have at a picnic *ROFL*
This time last year, my current LM wasn't my LM - it feels longer than a year since they took me on. Time is weird. I was also avoiding slipping in the snow and celebrating the start of the recruitment process for our new Rector. And recognising that the Kingdom is big enough for everyone.
Other than the usual cleaning jobs and playing a LOT of Veilguard, the only exciting thing to note was that husband's CGM worked right away, which was a relief. I'm guessing we just got unlucky the other day with two failures back-to-back. The fact that the company will replace them tells me there is a percentage that are expected to fail.
Also, husband's blood form arrived, so that's a job for Monday. And the garden people say they'll be out next week - keeping EVERYTHING crossed.
Oh, and daughter sent pictures of granddaughter chewing her toes - sooo cute! But she's a proper little diva - daughter also made a video of her smiling when Mummy was looking at her, then grumbling when she looked away, and then all smiles when Mummy looked at her again. She complains if her nappy is the slightest bit wet - younger grandson's could be so full it was round his knees and he wouldn't bother about it. SiL's parents apparently refer to granddaughter as a 'princess', which drives daughter nuts - but I honestly think she could take on the role of the 'real princess' in the story >D
And now to bed. Goodnight, DW!
