The sea, the sea...
Apr. 18th, 2024 09:19 pmThe Rising Tide - first impressions
I downloaded the DLC this morning before leaving for work, so it would be ready for me to play tonight. There was a bit of a rigmarole to get the thing started but it's moved along at a good pace since then. Of course, me visiting ALL the shops to buy new rolls for the Orchestrian took up a bit of time...
We've arrived in a little village called Haven. The area reminds me a lot of Besaid - even the music! There are some nice water physics - and some not so nice ones.
Our job is to rescue Leviathan's dominant both literally and figuratively, I think. But our first task was to make friends with the blacksmith and the store keeper. The former didn't have much for us, but the latter had some better armour and another roll of music :D
More Geordie accents, but also some Irish and Welsh...
I stopped before heading out on the quest proper. That's a job for the weekend.
Finally worked it out! I need to be in the HTML tab, not Rich Text - doh!
I watched some more of Fuzzfinger's LP of Rebirth - nearly at Corel. I'm already feeling for Barret ;(
Poked around at a few worky things in work. Nothing really to report. But quiet days are good.
Looking forward to more of the same tomorrow :)
