rosa_heartlilyHad husband's follow-up appointment with the Rheumatologist, today. Apparently it's looking like he's at the milder end of the spectrum rather than being 'pre-rheumatic', which they thought originally. They prescribed a steroid dose, which was delivered via an injection. The nurse did ask him to do a cough but he didn't hear, so got the full force of the needle... :( Anyway, that should kick in over the next 24-48 hours, and relieve the aches and pains in his joints. Whenever we go to an appointment he comes out saying, 'But my X is fine - why don't they look at my aches and pains?', to which I reply, 'But you haven't told anyone about them - how CAN they investigate?'. Instead, it was picked up in a blood test to check his iron levels. So, it was worth getting it done, wasn't it?!
Otherwise, I had a quiet day going through my emails and watching the Playstation Access gang talking about terrible things they'd done in video games. I encourage you to watch/listen - there's some really shocking behaviour going on :O My personal moment of shame was breaking Cassandra's heart in DAI on my 'total cad' playthrough ;(
I also watched Fuzzfinger go chocobo racing in Rebirth. Might be something I engage with when/if I actually play. At least you don't have to breed the bloody things.
We watched Mastermind tonight - Dad's Army (all got answers), LFC under Klopp (mostly the son with some from the husband), Life and Works of Jane Austen (I did REALLY poorly - even the questions about the books were about more obscure characters), and Shania Twain (don't think any of us got any). I've never claimed to know much about JA herself but I thought I'd stand a fair chance on the books :(

And now I'm heading for bed.
