The ending of Once Upon A Time was deeply satisfying and I'm glad I stuck it out to the end. Now I just need J to finish watching it (he's currently on a rerun of Buffy!), so I can talk to him about it.

I've started watching Anne with an E, which (so far) is very close to the book. The girl playing Anne is so like her in looks and energy levels.

I Am Setsuna continues to be cute. I was listening to the OST in work yesterday and the titles of some of the pieces make me think the ending is not going to be all rainbows and unicorns. Which would be interesting for a JRPG, and might also prove satisfying. I'm currently exploring the world for locked chests and doing a bit of levelling before heading for the final dungeon. Due to the complete lack of maps in the game (seriously? what game doesn't have maps?!), my gaming colleague printed a world map for me off the internet. So many places to go!

I've completed the main edit of Mannerley and am currently working my way through the dialogue. I want my three main characters to each have a distinct 'voice' and Robert's verbosity needs reigning in a bit. If I have time/energy after those four, I'll take a look at the others.

Yesterday was our anniversary and the son treated us to a meal at his favourite pub. The food and atmosphere were great but my energy levels weren't. End of the day slump combined with day three of being with both husband and son, with little chance to 'decompress' in between, meant I could actually have done without it. And we're planning to go out today, too (just me and husband) but whether for the day or just an evening meal, we still aren't sure.

Tomorrow, I game...
