Oops and double oops...

rosa_heartlilyA year ago I was using a guide to get through, planning to buy BG&E:R20, watching cricket, Psych and Emma.
Today I watched ANOTHER video about COE33 - this time with a slant towards storytelling and getting lost in a created world. REALLY interesting.
Then it was off to church for our Pride service, which included creating a Pride flag across the main space. A former member came with a couple of friends; apparently they were nervous there wouldn't be anyone they recognised - we're becoming that kind of congregation.
After dinner we went for a walk but it really was too hot. Note to selves - wait until the evening when possible!
I played some more ECHH and I owe the game an apology - you can actually nip back to the village to heal up in between the boss fights. Some more thoughts:
- Hurstwine - why do these things always happen to me? Because you're the baddy!
- He wants a bigger... sceptre...?!
- I can talk to dogs and cats but not chickens *pouty face*
- I've discovered what the 'support' slot is for (begin 'list of things the game doesn't tell you'...)
- Hishahn is expensive
- I've just spent a fortune upgrading the equipment of my previous party, and then changed some of them...
- I also have a list of potential recruits, their locations, and what they want me to do before they'll join; it's that kind of game...
Plans for the back garden (probably for next year, now) include some small raised beds for planting - maybe a flamingo willow, a rambling rose and some bulbs. The raised beds will avoid the need to dig holes in the back which has very little real soil. They will also allow the meadow flowers to grow through, so I won't need to worry about disturbing them.
And now it's some Doctor Who to finish the day.
