Memories...

This time last year I was reflecting on the reflection I'd given in church, gardening, playing FFXVI and finishing Emma.
Today our granddaughter is 7 months old... and it's 7 years since our niece passed. It feels like a kind of symmetry.
I went to the leadership team morning prayer this morning at St B's. It moves around the four sites Monday - Thursday. I'm hoping to get to St Michael's and St Margaret's as well, next week. St Dunstan's is just too far. But it was good to be with the folk, today.
After tea I went into the kitchen to wash up and suddenly realised it was Monday, so I needed to do the next cleaning job! That was the bottom drawer where we keep the tea towels and tablecloths. Except we don't really use the tablecloths, so they are now in the Box For Things That Belong Elsewhere. When it's full, it will go into the back room to await the Time Of Great Sorting, and I'll bring another empty box downstairs. I'm going to finish up the smaller cupboards before coming back to the large one with all the cups. Really dreading doing the cups... Why do we have so many darned CUPS?!
And I've just watched a video about a couple who renovated an old convent, partly in the spirit of research. I jotted down my ideas for the Sweetheart this morning but I think I need to do some more writing prompts and make some actual story words about this group. A couple of interesting ideas for characters - someone who hears colours and someone who can feel the world turn. The second is a Doctor Who reference. The first... not sure where I got that but I have a vague memory of watching/reading something about people with non-typical ways of perceiving the world. It would be an interesting concept to explore, though.
There was also work, but nothing startling to report, there.
And now to bed!
