If you blink, you'll miss it

Really don't know where today went!
This time last year, I was prepping for a talk on the Magi, eating curry, and playing Sea of Stars - and appreciating well done tutorials! There is definitely something to be said for a well managed tutorial. Rex Sterling was ranting at FFVIII for introducing new tutorials (I think it's the one for junctioning elemental attack when you're in the basement of Garden...?) in Disc 3 :D
Today, I put the shopping away (the main reason for getting a delivery was because we were low on spaghetti - and what did I nearly forget to order...?), cleaned the bathroom, then had a bath in my nice clean bath.
And, of course, spent some time with DAV. I've opened all the secret areas in the Lighthouse, and spent a lot of time chatting to my companions. Oh, and I've bought gifts for most of them - I have a feeling I've missed the opportunity with the others, so that's definitely something to watch out for if/when I replay. I also have some interesting items in my room, and 45% of the Codex. The script keeps making me chuckle, and the voice acting has definitely picked up. A lot of the side content gives more information about the story, so it's hard to think of it as 'side content' - and also hard to keep track of what is Main Plot (for me, anyway). But I'm still enjoying it!
Something I'm not enjoying is 'Matlock'. I really dislike stories based on deception (except Psyche - Psyche worked!), or false premises (I can't watch the Vicar of Dibley because CoE vicars do not rock up out of nowhere! SOMEONE would have known she was coming), or misrepresentation (The Lion King - lions do not rule the pride, lionesses do; in a real pride, Simba and Nala would be SIBLINGS!!!). Matlock got me by hiding the deception at the heart of it until the end of the first episode. I liked the characters and the plot lines for the episodes, so I kept watching. But the latest episode was just getting too convoluted and silly, so I turned it off and deleted the series link. It's not like I don't have stuff to watch *avoids looking at Doctor Who*
And that was my day. Trying for a (slightly) earlier night, today.
