This time last year I was getting annoyed with Zau's idea of 'relaxed', enjoying Psych, anticipating my return to work, and loving my grandsons.

Today I eased myself back into the routine of work and even resisted the temptation to 'put something on in the background'. I had a couple of jobs that really needed to be done today and I didn't want to be distracted. Tomorrow is looking busy, so I didn't want to risk leaving anything overnight. I did the two jobs in record time, so I allowed myself a little play on my colour by numbers game at the end of the day.

I also had a nice chat with Chat Buddy. They asked what I was planning to play after COE33. I mentioned the DLC for Sea of Stars (which they haven't finished) and Crisis Core (which they couldn't get into). In the past, I've suggested they try The Pedestrian because they like environmental puzzles and it's ALL environmental puzzles :D

This morning I watched a video about different story structures and someone in the comments mentioned the Story Grid, which looks like it could be interesting as a way of covering all angles. I currently use the Snowflake Method for basic ideas, a long character sheet to rival D&D, and a plot outline that includes plot points, pinch points, and story climax and resolution over 3 acts. I have no idea where I picked it up from! It doesn't quite fit any of the ones mentioned in the video.

And this evening I watched half of a Troughton Doctor Who story. Ice Warriors. Again...

My SIM seems to have died, so it's a trip to the O2 shop tomorrow...
