This time last year I was making connections :D

Today, I 'solved' the problem of why a table I'd created wasn't showing up when I tried to link it to a tab. I had a box ticked that needed to be unticked. <_< So, with that done, the tab is now ready to use! And I've created a form for people to use to create new entries. Which triggers a memory - I need to set the tab up so that only the items relating to THAT project show up. OK - job for tomorrow.

Daughter rang earlier asking if we'd like to meet up with her, sil and the kids on Saturday - which we would, but we're already meeting up with my mother and stepfather! And tomorrow is out for Reasons, so maybe next Friday?

Made some progress with Coffee Talk. I've met all of the characters - they are a weird and wonderful bunch. It's set in a world where 'fantasy' creatures live alongside humans but one of them wants to write a novel where only humans live in the world. Chat buddy mentioned a game that has that as a premise but I can't remember what they said it was called. I'll try to remember to ask tomorrow.

CB and I had a sort of row about religious freedom of all things. When we were both a lot younger we looked at the God we were being told about and decided they weren't a God we wanted to believe in. CB's response was, 'there's no God' mine was 'God isn't like that'. So, when we met, they were an atheist and I was (still am!) on a journey to see how much of what I was taught as a kid I could ditch and still call myself Christian. Today, CB tried to school me on what the Bible says about homosexuality. First off, you abandoned the Bible, so don't quote it at me! Secondly, the 'clobber passages' are time and culture specific. When Jesus told us to love everyone, he fucking well meant EVERYONE. If you choose not to serve someone because X, it's not because of your religion, it's because you're a bigot. And yes, that's me being judgemental. Deal.

They also tried to school me on my grammar - which - do NOT go there! I sent a link to the online Miriam Webster Dictionary that showed I was correct.

The day had a bit of a stuttering start due to husband's terrible sleep patterns - but I did get to have a chat with Gamer Colleague, so that was good.

And that - in sort of reverse order! - was my day.
