This time last year I was feeling nostalgic for Choco Boko Booyaka and the fanficcing community that grew out of it, and also easing back into work.
Today, I finished off some more side stuff in DAV, including locating some hidden chests. And enjoyed the banter, of course. After every trip out, I come back to the Lighthouse and listen in on my companions' conversations - they're always in pairs or alone, never a group of three. And one of them has a thing for coffee - definitely someone I want to meet IRL!
This morning, husband agreed to try ANOTHER new sensor, suggesting we try his other arm (which I was going to do, anyway!). And... it worked!!! I was sooo relieved. We also had a conversation about how I sometimes get lost in the 'taking care' aspect (managing medications, measuring glucose, making appointments) and forget that there's actually a person underneath it all.
We also got the scaffolding put up for the solar panel people on Monday. Someone in the office was talking about pigeons getting underneath their panels and having to put something around them to stop the birds getting in. But someone else said they'd never had a problem! We do get an annual inspection included in the fee, so maybe they'll check on feathered squatters, too :D
I also had a poke at the Power BI reports I was playing with last year. I need to make a list of the things I want to do with them and talk to one of the team about how I go about it - in particular, how I publish the damned things!
My legs are really achy - tramping up and down the hill through slush and ice will do that.
