Day 2 - Deaths 0

So, two days without TV and we're all still alive! As husband says, though, it's not so much wanting to have the telly on as having the option. I'm just so glad I can at least play TT - I mean FFVIII - when I need to escape.

Speaking of - I finally got the Edea card after a number of tries. I also tried playing Artisan but got nowhere - which is annoying because he had lots of cards I don't have :( In FFVIII itself, I also spent a lot of time screaming at the controller as I played the two most annoying mini-games known to FF-kind - Squall's fight with the Galbadian soldier and Laguna's with the Ruby Dragon. The controls are SO unresponsive *sulks* Also, I read somewhere that if you don't look at Selphie's diary before that Laguna sequence, Ward is also there, so I've been avoiding it - but it was just Kiros. *shrugs*

I've just watched the trailer for Witcher IV - looks amazing. I would LOVE to play a whole game as Ciri.

This afternoon, the scaffolder turned up - after me telling the company we didn't need it AND the solar panel company saying they'd cancel it. I apologised to the lad for a wasted journey but he said it was OK - it meant he had an easier day :D

And that was about it for today.
