May. 19th, 2024 09:10 pmEven I've had a few tears in my eyes, today. Jurgen Klopp is a very special person who has cemented his place in the history of Liverpool FC. He will never walk alone.
Took husband out for a walk after dinner because it was such a gorgeous afternoon. We kept meeting people on a charity walk for Diabetes UK, which was slightly ironic.
Back home, I made progress with Zau and gained a new skill. Then failed to use the new skill to properly negotiate a section of the game and turned it off. It'll probably be next weekend before I get to play again but that's OK - Zau will be waiting.
I also managed a couple of episodes of Psych, including one with Tim Curry playing a Simon Cowell-type character. My chat buddy has shared clips from that episode where Tim Curry is wearing Henry's bathrobe. It was good to see it in context :D
One of my Beta readers for the 70 x 700 stories has been quicker at commenting than the others. One of the 'stories' (I admittedly use the term 'story' VERY loosely in this collection) is actually a prayer, spoken by an unnamed person on behalf of the Queen. I was patting myself on the back regarding the amount of information there is about the society they come from, and pondering whether this could be one of the pieces that could be spun up into a full-length novel. Reviewer - there was no context; I didn't understand it. >D That'll teach me to be smug. They also suggested that being a Myers-Briggs 'S' might have an impact, because they prefer something grounded.
Spending a Monday in the office for a change, tomorrow. Time to start winding down for bed.
