FFVII in different forms
Mar. 4th, 2024 09:48 pmWatched a couple of Fuzzfinger Gaming's streams of FFVII: Rebirth - he's already at Junon. Things I think would annoy me include how you acquire chocobos. I think that's unspoilery...? I'm also thinking that the nods to other games might be SE's way of getting around having to do any more remakes! 'That thing you like from that game... it's in FFVII: Rebirth... That'll do you, won't it?' :D The combat looks as much fun as in Remake and there is sooo much to do *looks at FFXVI* Rob from Playstation Access said he'd spent about 10 hours just getting to the end of Ch 2 >D But then, he's playing for his own amusement. I suspect Fuzz would do more if he wasn't live streaming.
And I also watched Dave continue his very first playthrough of FFVII: OG. He's just acquired the Tiny Bronco. He also had several attempts at getting Yuffie to join the party... Took me back. Oh, and he did the date but I had to turn it off at that point.
Otherwise, I was just poking at some work. By no means could I be accused of over-exerting myself, today! I like to take advantage of slow work days, though, because I have enough that are anything but.
And I rounded the day off by finishing 'The Gardens Between'. Had a little lump in my throat at the end. I ended with 5/18 trophies. It doesn't seem super difficult to get the rest but... I would be guilty of trophy-hunting rather than enjoying everything in the game. It's a LOT and would require quite a bit of replaying, and I didn't enjoy the gameplay enough to want to do it all again. So, that's one plat I'm leaving alone. There - decision made.
