So the previous Custodian of the RAPID put their updates at the bottom of the Excel cell, which led to some confusion at the beginning because I thought there wasn't an update when they insisted there was.  Now that I am running the darned thing, I'm switching the updates round so that the latest is always at the top.  It's fiddly and probably I'm the only one who cares, but I've started now...

The review meeting went well yesterday.  I've done a 'blanket booking' of fortnightly meetings for Feb - Apr - whoever can make a meeting comes along, whoever can't gives their update at the next one.  We only covered the red and amber risks but we got through all the issues.  We closed some stuff down (this makes me happy) and moved some items from amber to green (also a cause for joy).  The PM's risk management is the thing that most impresses me about them.  I've been on projects with RAIDs that only seem to grow and end up so unwieldy they're almost impossible to get through.

The only downside to having a group meeting is the time it takes to get through an item.  The week before, the PM and I rattled through the whole thing in about half an hour with them doing the updates.  This week, the group took an hour to get through maybe 10 lines?  But they are the owners of the risks and issues and this is them taking ownership.  Hopefully it'll get easier as we get more used to the project.

But if I hear THAT person mention the Marketer module once more...  *seethes*

Um...

The Rookie was a bit more normal this week.  Fillion charming the pants of some lucky girl and the new rookie being introduced.  The loss of one of the original cast was addressed, too - they haven't just disappeared, never to be spoken of again.  But no-one seems to know why the actor chose to leave the show...

I made some more progress with the planning for Odd One Out, too, which feels good.

And I'm hoping to get into the garden tomorrow to do some prep ahead of the arrival of my snowdrops next month!

I'm planning a shopping trip at the Supermarket From Hell today (seriously, the place stresses me out when I walk in, even without Covid) mostly because they sell the only brand of spaghetti my boys will eat and our stocks are running low AND it's not showing up on the shop online site and we're worried they've stopped selling it so I'm going to the bricks and mortar store to investigate.  Apologies for the insanely long sentence!  The point is - I'm going to sign off now because I also have cleaning and gaming to fit into my day when I get home :D

Priorities, priorities...
