The great clean continues
Jan. 3rd, 2018 10:44 amScrubbing the kitchen floor has really made a difference, so that is good. The oven hasn't come as clean as I hoped, so that's back on my to-do list for my next leave.
I've made a couple of small changes in our bedroom that have actually made a big difference. I swapped the chest of drawers and shelves over, so now what I see from my bed is the chest of drawers with nice things, rather than the shelves with a printer on top. I've also pushed the telly back a bit because there's more space with the shelves behind it than the chest of drawers, and moved the luggage from the top of the wardrobe to under the bed. We now have a bedroom that happens to have a telly in it rather than a TV/gaming room that happens to contain a bed. All good stuff!
On today's agenda is cleaning the bathroom and downstairs toilet, and, possibly, cleaning the hall and stairs. The bannister gets so grubby! I also have a parcel to collect - when Amazon get round to delivering it to the pick up point. I might just leave it until my 'big day out' on Friday. My plan is not to go outside at all tomorrow, or to do any 'work'. Which means hymn-picking needs to be done today, too.
Well, I need food and then on with the cleaning. Bye for now, DW!
