Loving my long weekend

 A year ago, we were suffering through the building work next door, worrying about Liverpool's performance, enjoying finishing FFXVI, starting Carto, and watching Farscape (which I was enjoying, too, but didn't get very far with).

Today, I decided to skip church - the Sabbath was made for humanity, etc, etc. I weeded the front garden - the hardcore, weed-suppressing membrane and gravel haven't stopped the weeds - this morning.

After dinner, I played the first of three sessions that got me to the end of Veilguard. I got a VERY different ending, unsurprisingly.

I've downloaded Clair Obscur just to make sure it's ready to go next week. But now I have over a week to fill - somehow...

Husband and I think we've found a restaurant for next weekend. A lot of restaurants don't open until 2pm on a Sunday, which is too late for husband to get back for the match at 4.30pm. And then there were ones where we didn't like the look of the menu or had accessibility issues. But The Italian Club looks like it ticks all the boxes!

And this year, Liverpool have got the job done and won the Prem with four games left! We are a very happy household tonight.
