Delayed response

This time last year, I was having a miserable time with my bad tooth and contemplating workflows.

Today, I had a bit of a delayed response to yesterday's incident, probably triggered by one of the blokes having a textual ding-dong with someone else, when they'd actually made a very reasonable suggestion. Nothing terribly dramatic, just an unsettled feeling - but these are feelings I'm learning to take more notice of as I get older. I also talked yesterday over with the one person who remained calm and reasonable yesterday, thanking them for doing so.

I also had a chat with one of the angry blokes and suggested next time we have something to tell people about, we go over the best way to present it. Like start with why we're doing it, and how it's going to benefit people (because this actually will benefit everyone!), then move on to the how. But one thing most of the people I've chatted to agree on - it has to be applied to everyone. Which makes me wonder how my time could be tracked?

My own work did happen, too! I've made progress with the lessons learned stuff in particular, though there's a bit more to do on that.

And I've finished S4 of Unforgotten. ;( ;( ;(
