Mostly ups...
Jan. 13th, 2025 09:13 pmThis time last year, I was angsting over my pension fund's ethical choices and was planning to set up the joint account with the son. I still need to push on the pension, and get the son's name on the utilities accounts. I think my enthusiasm for both sank with my general oomph levels, last year.
Today I captured some more thoughts about Nova, including that she's blind. All blind girls are trained as Seers by the Temple - but being a 'niner' adds something, I'm assuming magic. So, no 'writing' as such, but still progress.
About 8.30am, the electrician arrived to install our solar battery and meter - cue lots of drilling. Rather than going into the loft, he decided to use... the cupboard at the bottom of the stairs! So glad I cleaned it out, yesterday :) A couple of hours later, the roofers arrived - took them about an hour to install the actual panels. Meanwhile, the electrician's sidekick turned up - not really sure what he did, tbh! Anyway, it was all done by 2.30pm, and for about 90 minutes we were completely off-grid!
We also got a call from the rheumatologist who confirmed that husband had pneumonia :O We're to keep an eye on how he's doing and get him to the GP if he gets worse again. His glucose levels are about normal again, though, so fingers crossed..
And that was today :)
