Well, hello!

Granddaughter arrived this morning, and she and her parents were home by tea time! They really don't let you hang about these days. There have been cute pictures of new cute baby being cute, plus cute (slightly) older brother kissing cute baby. We won't get to meet her in person right away, though. This is when I get extremely jealous of the other grandparents who live literally around the corner and can pop in for 5 minutes and pop home again. We're not going to take a taxi ride all the way there just to stay for 5 minutes. So, between letting daughter and partner adjust to living with a toddler AND a newborn, me and son being at work, younger grandson being in nursery, and wrangling my parents into the mix, it's looking like the end of the week after next. *sigh*

I'm getting used to her name, though. Not one I would have picked - but that's true of the boys, too. But repeating it is definitely working.

I decided to play some Skyrim today - and ended up feeling nauseous. Now, husband has had a bit of a dodgy stomach lately, so I thought I might have picked something up from him. But then I remembered feeling exactly the same when playing Shape of the World. I really do not like FP. It's one of the reasons I've never even considered VR (the price is another!). I considered trying again tomorrow to test the theory but... just THINKING about it is making my stomach flip over. I'm sorry, World, but Skyrim is not for me - my stomach has decided. But wait - I can play in TP... Well, we'll try THAT tomorrow, then. I mean, the game hasn't really grabbed me so far. Rob from Playstation Access would tell me I'm doing it wrong because I'm not killing everyone and stealing everything :D I'm finding books and pressing X to read them - but NOT reading them. It's frustrating. Plus everything is a muddy grey. The water's pretty, though.

And I've finished Series 1 of Umbrella Academy. It's all making more sense this time round. Watching the whole thing is definitely worth it.
