Times and tides...
Mar. 18th, 2023 09:29 amGot some more cuddles with grandson #2 this week. He's 13lb and still less than 2 months old :D His hair also has a distinctly reddish tinge. He is totally adorable and we are all besotted. Daughter has asked us to buy him books for Easter, so I need to organise that.
Meanwhile, grandson #1 has just started his first job - cleaning tables at MacDonald's for £10 :O He's going to be loaded. He wants financial contributions to his driving lessons for Easter, so that's easy enough.
Had a catch up with a former colleague, yesterday. They've been in the wars a bit, too - swollen knee caused by sitting still for too long. Remember to get up and move around, folks! And they had a story of a colleague who's faculties were affected by sepsis and got to the hospital just in time - so glad husband's blood infection was picked up so early.
And in creative news, clown #1 has a face; I just need to finish stitching it on. Then hair and clothes and she can watch me create clown #2 :D

Yesterday was the fifth anniversary of our niece being killed by a speeding car. I don't know where the time has gone. Husband still doesn't remember her death/funeral or her mother's (7 years in April).
