Just chillin'

rosa_heartlily I took Thursday and Friday off because a) I need my leave and b) the meetings are stacking up but there is still SOME wiggle room!
Thursday I spent slobbing round the house in my PJs. I spent quite a bit of time with DAI and made cauliflower cheese for tea but otherwise did very little.
Yesterday, I had a filling replaced, did a bit of shopping (and almost spent money on clothes but stepped away again) then met my mother and step-father for a coffee. They'd been to see their solicitor to check on the security around their wills after listening to a radio programme about elderly people being preyed on by being persuaded to marry people and change their wills in their favour. Anyway, everything's OK with theirs!
When I got home I found the very sweet salt and pepper holder I got for the daughter and co as a house-warming present had finally arrived. It's hand carved and came from Bulgaria, or somewhere. It's shaped like two leaves end to end and has a swivelly top. Now we just need to fix a date for visiting!
My new boots had also arrived. I ordered a pair in burgundy. I took the first one out and thought it looked a bit dark but maybe it was just my eyes, or the light, or something. Then I took the other one out and that was definitely burgundy. The reason the first one looked black was because it was! So, they are going back with a request that they send me a PAIR of burgundy ones!
And next Saturday our new cooker arrives.
But today is for cleaning and chilling. See you next week, DW!
