Gotta chill...
A year ago, I was looking back of past entries, fussing over invoices, enjoying Rob enjoying Dave not enjoying Emerald Weapon, and editing.
This morning started with some decisions about my Nova story, which I think is going to be a three-parter, with each part focussing on each of my female characters. It felt like something shifted.
I wore one of my new dresses today, which I thought was long enough to cover the tops of my knee highs - well, it is when I'm standing still in front of the mirror! So, I called into Primark on the way to the office for hold-ups, which they didn't have, so I got some tights, which I don't normally wear. But these have a little cotton gusset, so 'healthier' than the usual ones.
Made it through the day - nothing amazing, nothing terrible. A colleague and I had a conversation about succession planning and how it would actually be REALLY good to have some fresh blood in the team. I also want to suggest we have some sort of 'team bonding/building' session in the not too distant. Sounds cringey, but it feels like we need it.
And tonight I'm watching the first episode of the new series of The Rookie as my downtime for today.
