You idea does make sense and it is pulling at me. I'm REALLY worried a female out of control (at least initially) protagonist with a female side-kick (of whatever persuasion) will look too much like 'Frozen'. BUT the whole 'girls/women mustn't be angry' thing is what created Sophie in the first place and I wanted to explore some of those feelings in this Nano - in fact, it was the WHOLE point of doing it!
